Morilee, a long-standing force in bridal and special occasion dressing, has announced the appointment of Jiyup Kim as Chief Design Officer. In this pivotal role, Kim will chart the course of design innovation across Morilee's esteemed collections, spanning Bridal, Couture, Quinceañera, and Special Occasion lines.

Kim brings an unparalleled blend of creativity, visionary leadership, and a rich background in fashion and design, which will positively influence the brands’ growth trajectory and elevate its creative, commercial, and cultural success, according to Eagle.
Most recently, she served as Senior Design Director at Vera Wang for over 10 years where she directed the creative vision of their luxury Bridal, RTW, Red Carpet and Special Occasion Collections. Additionally, Kim brings an impressive resume working for some of the world’s most celebrated and beloved fashion and designer brands, including Jason Wu, Donna Karan and Marchesa.

Kim’s first bridal collection for Morilee will debut at the National Bridal Market Chicago, March 2025 and at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, April 2025.
